Cloaked Wizard Mini | Arcane Scholar Miniature | Hooded Lore Keeper | DM Stash

Knowledge is its own kind of power — and he carries it like a weapon.

He stands at the balcony's edge, tome pressed to her chest and scroll gripped in hand, chainmail hood drawn low over sharp eyes that have seen too much and forgotten nothing. Her robes are layered and ornate — embroidered filigree trails the hem of her coat, pauldrons catch the candlelight, and every fold of fabric speaks of a life spent in libraries that most would never be permitted to enter. This is not a wandering adventurer. This is a man who knows where the bodies are buried because he wrote it down himself.

The scenic base sets the entire encounter: a carved stone balcony with turned balusters, ball-capped pillars, and melted candles pooled at her feet — the kind of platform that belongs at the top of a mage tower, a cathedral archive, or the inner sanctum of a secretive order. She surveys whatever lies below with the patience of someone who has already calculated every outcome.

For Dungeon Masters, she arrives fully formed as a quest-giver, rival sage, faction leader, or keeper of dangerous information your players desperately need. She could be the last surviving scholar of a destroyed order — or the one who ordered its destruction. For players, this miniature is a natural home for Wizard, Cleric, or Warlock characters who lead with intellect, carry secrets, and never fight without knowing the odds first.

-The party climbs to her chambers seeking a forbidden text — she already knows why they've come, and her price is steep.
-A noble house has hired her to investigate a murder — she has suspects, but she suspects the party too.
-She appears in the middle of a ruined library, calmly reading while chaos burns around her — whatever she's searching for is worth the risk.
-The players have been tracking a spy network for three sessions — she's at the centre of it, and she's been watching them just as long.
