Steel does not weep. But it remembers every song it has ever heard — and this one has heard centuries worth.
Designed by Claudio Casini and produced under license by Jukes3D Studio, this Warforged Bard miniature is unlike any performer your table has seen. A construct built for war that chose music instead, he stands with the confidence of someone who has outlived every critic. His body is layered in riveted plate and studded pauldrons, mechanical joints visible beneath a flowing beret adorned with a feather — the only soft thing about him. Across his chest a bandolier strap cuts diagonally over a breastplate etched with circular engravings. His hands — heavy, plated, precise — cradle a mechanically detailed lute, its body ornate with gear-work flourishes and its neck extending outward as if mid-performance. Baggy trousers tuck into sandalled feet planted firmly on a detailed rubble-strewn scenic base. Every angle of this model tells a story: from the front, a performer. From the side, a soldier who never quite forgot. From the back, a wanderer carrying everything he owns and everything he's lost.
For players, he makes an extraordinary character piece — the Warforged Bard is one of the most narratively rich class-race combinations in tabletop roleplaying, and this miniature does that story full justice. For Dungeon Masters, he works equally well as a wandering NPC, a mysterious tavern regular, or a decommissioned war-construct who found purpose in melody rather than bloodshed.
Encounter and story hooks to spark your imagination:
- The party hears music drifting from a ruined battlefield — and finds him sitting alone among the dead, playing for no one, or perhaps for everyone.
- He approaches the players with a single request: find the artificer who built him and never returned. He doesn't know if he wants answers or revenge.
- In the middle of a royal court performance, he stops mid-song, turns to the throne, and says a name no one in that room should know.
- A rival faction has hired him as a spy — not for his blades, but because constructs don't sleep, don't drink, and forget nothing they overhear.
