Psionic Gith Mini | Levitating Astral Monk Miniature | 32mm–75mm High Detail Resin | By Monster Atlas

The void between planes does not frighten those who were born inside it. He levitates in perfect stillness — robes torn by the winds of worlds you cannot name, tendrils drifting where a lesser being would have a crown.

This is the Psionic Gith, a licensed miniature designed by Monster Atlas and brought to life in stunning resin detail. He floats cross-legged above a shattered stone base, draped in layered ceremonial robes that hang and tear in the manner of something that has passed through the astral sea more times than memory allows. Tentacle-like appendages curl from his bald, angular skull. His face — hollow-cheeked, ancient, contemptuous — carries the expression of a being who dismantled the last civilisation that annoyed him and has since moved on to more interesting problems. Bead necklaces layer across his chest, and each hand is raised in a gesture of psychic readiness, fingers curled around unseen energy. The sculpt captures the floating pose with robes fanning outward to support the levitation effect, giving the piece genuine visual drama from every angle.

For Dungeon Masters, this miniature reads as a boss encounter from the moment it hits the table. The levitating pose signals power before a single die is rolled — this is not a creature that walks toward the party. It arrives. It presides. Use him as an elder mind-flayer variant, a gith warlord, a planar sorcerer, or the terrifying final form of a psion the players thought they understood. For players running psionic monks, astral-touched warlocks, or alien-lineage characters, this piece carries the exact blend of calm menace and cosmic authority that those builds deserve.

Encounter ideas to bring this model to life at your table:

- The party steps through a planar rift and he is already there, levitating at eye level, arms outstretched — he has been expecting them for three centuries.
- A merchant city has gone silent. When the players investigate, they find every resident frozen mid-action, their minds walking some other plane — and he sits at the centre of the market square, meditating.
- The players believe they are negotiating with a god. They are not. They are negotiating with a servant, and the god is watching through his eyes.
- He does not fight when the party attacks. He simply reaches out with one hand, and the most powerful character at the table hears a voice that is not their own.
