Woodland Satyr Mini | Contemplative Faun Model Kit | 75mm–140mm Large Scale Collector Resin | By Nerikson

You've been waiting for a piece that asks everything of you — every wet blend, every glaze, every carefully loaded brush. The Guardian Faun by Nerikson is exactly that: a meditation in texture and tension, a display centrepiece that rewards the painter who refuses to settle.

Perched high on a gnarled, wind-sculpted tree, this elegant faun figure commands the composition with quiet authority. Her anatomy is rendered with exceptional sensitivity — lean muscle tone transitions seamlessly into softly draped bark-cloth wrappings and layered botanical adornments. The flowing wooden base spirals upward like a living thing, its twisted grain offering extraordinary surface variety: tight wood-fibre channels for fine-line drybrushing, broad sweeping planes perfect for blending warm and cool bark tones, and deep undercut shadows that reward careful Object Source Lighting work from a glowing orb suspended above. Her face is the centrepiece — calm, pensive, poised — with fine braided hair, delicate pointed ears, and expressive closed eyes that invite the most precise skin-tone blending a brush can deliver. Ram-like horns curl expressively from her temples, tying her nature to the wild. A serpentine staff rises above her, its crown bearing an ornate lantern-like totem with tight scrollwork and organic detailing that will challenge and delight in equal measure. At the base, masked faces and scattered offerings emerge from root clusters — an ideal canvas for OSL and verdigris effects. Every zone of this piece rewards a different technique: stippling on bark, smooth transitions on skin, freehand on the wrapped fabric panels, NMM on clasps and fastenings.

Available in 75mm and 140mm scales. The 140mm option is a true large-format showcase piece, offering exceptional surface area for advanced techniques and competition-level detail. Printed in premium high-resolution resin, capturing the full depth of Nerikson's original sculpt. Multi-part assembly allows confident handling during painting.

Worthy of a competition display case, the Guardian Faun is a collector-grade release from Nerikson — a designer celebrated for emotionally resonant, technically complex fantasy characters. Whether displayed alone or as the anchor of a larger diorama, this piece holds a room.
