Prisoner Cage Mini | Dungeon Gibbet Jail Cell | 32mm Resin Fantasy Terrain | By Dungeon Dog

$22.99

The chains groan. Somewhere above the dungeon floor, the cage sways — and whatever is inside has long since stopped calling for help.

Designed by Dungeon Dog, this sinister prisoner cage set is every tyrant's calling card rendered in cold iron and splintered timber. The piece ships as two components: a heavy-limbed hoisting crane mounted on a reinforced tripod base, complete with a pulley wheel, thick braided chains, and a curved blade accent that hints at something far worse than imprisonment — and the cage itself, a spiked, bar-latticed cell topped with curling eave-style finials, suspended by a four-point chain harness from a central hook. Studs and spikes line the cage corners. The floor planks are textured and grim. This is not a cage built for comfort. It is built to be seen.

For Dungeon Masters, this is an instant atmosphere piece. Drop it into a warlord's throne room, a dockside slave market, a goblin king's war camp, or the upper tier of a sacrificial pit chamber. The crane mechanism implies active use — something was recently hauled up, or is about to be lowered down. That ambiguity is the story. For players who love prop-heavy sessions, seeing this on the table the moment they enter a room tells them everything they need to know about the power structure they've just walked into.

At 32mm scale it pairs seamlessly with standard fantasy miniatures and modular dungeon tiles alike. The assembled pose — cage attached to crane — creates an imposing centrepiece, while the separated components allow flexible placement across different encounter zones.

-The party kicks open the war chief's gate — three cages hang from the rampart beams, one of them still occupied.
-A captured ally has been hoisted above a pit of acid. The winch chain has a lock. The clock is ticking.
-The noble who hired the party is suspended above the great hall. His captor wants a public confession before dawn.
-An ancient dungeon level holds a cage that predates the current dungeon lord — and whatever the previous occupant carved into the floor planks is a map.
