Arcane Study Room Terrain Set | Gothic Fantasy Scatter Pieces | 28mm 32mm Modular Dungeon Scale | By Tiny Furniture

The candles flicker low as your players push open the heavy oak door — shelves lined with grimoires, potion vials, and grinning skulls stretch floor to ceiling, and a sinister-looking figure looks up from behind a cluttered workbench. The Magister's Office Terrain Set by Tiny Furniture transforms any tabletop into a richly detailed arcane interior, dripping with dark scholarly atmosphere and ready to anchor your most memorable encounter.

This set includes an impressive collection of modular bookcase wall sections decorated with skull motifs, carved bone-like framing, and shelves packed with potions, tomes, scrolls, treasure chests, and arcane curiosities. A heavy wooden worktable sits centre-scene, laden with an open spell book, mortar and pestle, candles, and alchemical vessels. A high-backed ornate chair completes the workspace, alongside a smaller side table cluttered with skulls and reagents. Two character figures are included — a robed female scholar or mage and a crouching imp or familiar creature — adding immediate narrative life to the scene. Every piece is printed in high-quality resin, capturing extraordinary levels of fine detail in the wood grain textures, miniature objects on shelves, and decorative carved embellishments.

Designed at 28mm and 32mm scale, this terrain set is compatible with virtually all popular tabletop RPG and fantasy wargame systems. It integrates naturally with standard 1-inch grid dungeon tiles and modular dungeon systems, making it easy to build out a connected interior space. The bookcase sections can be arranged in straight runs or corner configurations, allowing flexible room layouts to suit any encounter.

All pieces ship unpainted and pre-primed for painting. No assembly is required for standalone scatter pieces; the modular bookcase sections may benefit from a small amount of glue to hold configurations in place. A light zenithal prime followed by washes and drybrushing will bring out the extraordinary carved detail. Painting the shelved items in contrasting colours — jewel-toned potion bottles, aged leather spines, glowing orbs — will make this set leap off the table.
