He falls from a kilometre up. The enemy never hears him coming — only the roar of the engines and the crack of twin pistols as he lands among them like a thunderbolt given flesh.
Bjorn Branndanser is a force of kinetic menace rendered in extraordinary detail. His broad, riveted armour carries the weight of a dozen campaigns — bolted plates, mechanical gauntlets, and a chest embossed with a death's-head emblem that leaves no question about his intentions. Twin firearms extend from each arm, their barrels fat with threat. At his back, a massive propulsion pack bristles with exhaust vents and mechanical couplings, the engineering of someone who leaps from airships as casually as others draw a sword. His horned head is bowed slightly forward, jaw set beneath a full beard, the posture of a man who has already calculated the drop. The base erupts beneath him in a surge of thruster blast — churning stone and smoke frozen at the moment of impact, grounding this aerial predator in the brutal instant he chooses to be deadly.
For Dungeon Masters, Bjorn is a perfect recurring antagonist — the terrifying enforcer of an airborne pirate crew, the Ørnevinger, who appears without warning from above. For players, this miniature serves beautifully as a Tiefling Fighter, Eldritch Knight, or Arcane Trickster who has traded blades for bullets and altitude for advantage. His aesthetic bridges grimdark fantasy and dieselpunk, making him equally at home in dark urban campaigns, sky-pirate adventures, or steampunk tabletop settings.
-The party spots the airship overhead — seconds later, Bjorn drops through the cloud line and lands boots-first in the centre of the courtyard, pistols already levelled.
-A bounty contract leads the adventurers to a sky-port, where the Ørnevinger's most feared lieutenant has been sighted — and he's already seen them first.
-Captured and brought aboard the airship, the players must negotiate with a man who respects only firepower and nerve — Bjorn watches from the shadows, waiting to see if they're worth keeping alive.
-The final approach to the enemy flagship is interrupted mid-air — and from above, a propulsion trail signals the drop of a very old, very dangerous enemy.
