Werewolf Ranger Mini | Beast Master Miniature | Lycanthrope Hunter with Heavy Crossbow | By DM Stash

The forest does not forgive. Neither does he.

Once a huntsman of sharp instinct and steady hand, the curse found him before his quarry ever could. For years the moon owned him — stripped him of name, of reason, of the life he had built. But where others broke, he endured. Through sheer, grinding will, he learned to hold the beast at arm's length and wield it like a weapon. Now he walks the threshold between man and monster, patrolling the wild margins of civilisation where no patrol dares follow.

This high-detail resin miniature — designed by DM Stash — captures him in a powerful forward stance, heavily muscled werewolf frame taut with purpose. He grips an intricately carved heavy crossbow across his chest, its ornate scrollwork contrasting with the raw, textured fur that covers his arms and torso. A layered travelling cloak drapes from his shoulders, battle-worn and windswept. His beast-like legs are wrapped in travel bindings, claws gripping a crumbled stone base that speaks to countless miles walked outside the city walls. Pointed ears rise above a snarling, wolfish face framed by wild, thick fur — not a monster who lost his humanity, but a monster who reclaimed it.

For players, this miniature makes a compelling Beast Master Ranger, Barbarian with a totem or lycanthropy subtheme, or a Druid who has leaned too deep into the wild. The crossbow opens up Ranger and Fighter builds naturally. For Dungeon Masters, he is equally powerful as a wandering NPC ally, a morally ambiguous protector of a remote region, or a boss-tier antagonist operating just beyond the firelight.

- The party follows a trail of giant wolf prints into the deep wood — only to find them ending at the base of a cloaked, upright figure waiting in silence.
- A frightened young villager, cloaked in red, begs the party not to follow the creature that saved her — insisting it is not what it seems.
- At the edge of a cursed forest, the local lord has placed a bounty on a beast that has never attacked a single innocent — your players must decide which side they stand on.
- During a full moon, a rumoured ally transforms mid-briefing — and the party must choose to restrain, flee, or trust.
